organic solidary

last week we talked about  organic solidary and society is held together as an organic whole. Im not pretty sure if this relates to it but it ad me thinking about a situation that occured at my job over the past few weeks. I work in century 21 a clothing department store and we have an order of who is there to open and close in each department and everythings been going smooth until this one girl at my department got placed in a higher position. After she left my department we had issues as to who's staying to closing and whos going to help me with cleaning the floor and making sure everything is in place. We were short on people and at times people would call out or show up late,So the conversation on organic solidary made me think about this particular issue because it shows how we all had an order in the department and one person could impact our order in the work society.

  1. I can completely relate to that with my job. I work in McDonalds and I'm often working later than usual, because we are always short on people. Your example to organic solidarity makes sense to me because we often need to depend on each other to start, finish, or anything in between, at our jobs. Otherwise we're left doing it ourselves, with no dependency as a whole at all.

  2. Nicki,

I think your example fits well. The idea is that we rely on each other to function in society and that we all have responsibilities to fulfill.
